Dining out has always been an excursion to me. I love going to new (or familiar) places and enjoying the atmosphere, the food, and of course, the company. Being able to laugh with friends and family as you munch on some delicious food is a bonding experience. For me it’s also relaxing and extremely enjoyable.
So when you find those restaurants that make you feel like you’re a home, or in another country, these are places that you have to share. (As much as you’d rather keep them secret to yourself.) When your mouth drools at the thought of going there, you know it’s good food.
But good food alone doesn’t make a restaurant. You can have spectacular food, but without equally spectacular service, you’re never going to want to return. You can have one without the other, but the dining experience often gets ruined without both.
Above all, I appreciate and expect good food with good service. For a restaurant that wishes to prosper, that’s really not asking too much.
And with these points that I look for, and with my belly, I will be sharing my dining experiences with you. The good, the bad, and the delicious!
